Common name: Emerald 'Brochis'.

Species: Corydoras splendens.

Habitat: Has been recorded throughout much of the Amazon basin in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.

Potential size: 7-8cm.

Social behaviour: A peaceful community fish. Best kept in small groups.

Food: Flake, wafers, tablets, frozen food etc.
