Used for creating a permanent USB powerpoint in your Car/4x4/Caravan/Overlander/Boat/Campervan/Van/Truck

 

12vdc/15w in coverts to 5v/3A out. 

 

Ample to charge most things that run off USB chargers nowadays...Kindle, IPhone, Tablet Computer, Ipad Mini, Nexus, Samsung Galaxy etc. 

And yes,  this WILL work with Apple Products. 

 

We designed and made this predominantely for the 4x4 market. We thought those people going on weekend camping trips and off road adventurers would want to keep their tablets and mobile phones topped up with charge for safety reasons. 

 

However, very recently, we were commissioned to make one for a Narrow Boat. And since then, Waterways World Magazine voted that our product was one of the "Must Buys" for this season for the Boating Community. 

 

We have one of these points in each vehicle and especically the caravan. There is always a fight for mains power in a small space. This USB Face Plate negates the need for mains plug useage altogether, leaving you free to plug in the important thing (kettle, toaster, iron, hair straighteners....) 

 

Available in Stainess Steel or Brass, this USB Powerpoint is a must have for everyone who uses USB as a power source.

This is the perfect item for any Land Rover lover.

Made with good quality wood from FSC controlled sources, no glue or are tools required for assembly. 

Supplied flat packed, sealed with full instructions on reverse of the picture. 

The detail on this is superb, from wing mirrors, to nobbly tyres, interior seats and steering wheel. You could paint it up after construction, or to preserve from oily fingers, simply put in a bath of PVA glue and water then leave to dry for a natural look. 

Measures 20cm(L) x 8cm (W) x 9cm (H) when constructed

Suitable for ages 7+

Need someway of storing your removable bushcables when not in use? The original solution from LandyLubber is the Bushcable Tie Back Kit.

2x marine grade stainless steel loop eyes, suitably sized to fit to the gutter or roof rack of your vehicle, to tie back your bushcable assembly when not in use. 

Simply fix the tie back loops along the roof line towards the rear of your vehicle, then dis-attach your bushcables from the bonnet or bullbar and tie back. 

This alleviates the grey area surrounding the use of bushcables on the front of your vehicle when on the highway. 

Inexpensive, simple but effective, these tie back sets can be used with any bushcable sets available on the market

We have sold hundreds of these. They are great for attaching to steering wheels, gear sticks, side gate, sheds, garages, bicycles, caravans, campervans or trailers.

 

With its motion sensing chip inside, once tampered with, this padlock gives off a deafening siren. 

 

Loud, high pitched alarm sounds when moved or knocked. 

Hardened steel shackle. 

Can be used alarmed or unalarmed. Simply turn the gate around depending on whether you need it alarmed or not. 

Replacement batteries and 3 keys supplied.

Good extra layer of security

I just lock to the steering wheel. It's loud enough to attract attention and you certainly wouldn't want to be driving while it was going off!
One word of caution - it is very sensitive! Once set, just closing a door is enough to trigger the alarm. Needs to be the last thing you do before you leave your vehicle.

These steering wheel knobs are designed for easy on-hand steering and increased manoeuvrability. 

 

Can be transferred from car to car, by clamping easily onto any steering wheel

 

The free-spinning knob make steering effortless, making them great for use in your 4x4 when tackling tough terrain, during your ATV competition, or simply on the road in your motorhome, disability vehicle or campervan.  

 

To fit, simply follow these easy steps: 

 

• Ensure that your steering wheel has the front wheels set for straight line travel.
• Then, you need to determine where the most comfortable point is on the wheel for you when going forward in a straight line. No-one else can do this for you, so get in the drivers seat! 
• Place the knob in this position and install the wheel clamp on it, tightening the bolt hand tight.
• Once the knob is located for your driving requirements, use a 17mm spanner to tighten so the steering wheel knob does not move freely along the wheel.

Very bright. Shame it's dim even when off

Very bright and a great improvement over the standard bulbs. Only downside is that it still glows dimly even when off. Doesn't matter during the day, but annoying when driving at night. I normally just turn the light off completely rather than on the 'door' setting at night.
I'll live with the dim glow rather than spend £50 on mud's alternative!

You may have to bed the lugs on the fittings in a bit, but the end result is literally brilliant. Did mine just in time for the nights getting darker!
