8.5A is a serious power draw, we suggest a large battery bank if you intend to use this oven while stationary and while not getting charge from the vehicle engine.

To give you some background: Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet light, to kill or inactivate micro-organisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.

UV radiation is germicidal sterilisation process. It is especially effective at disinfection, the wavelength of 264nm being incredibly impressive at killing germs, viruses and bacteria. These UV LEDs are used for eliminating 99.99% harmful bacteria, viruses and protozoa that cause water-borne illness, in a short space of time.

This is a chemical-free solution with approximately 10,000 hours lifespan per bulb.

If you intend to travel to destinations where the water quality is unknown, for your own peace of mind, these LEDs offer a solution to having safer running water, straight from your onboard water tank/container. 

Being LED, they use minimal power consumption and being small, they can be embedded into many applications.
