Fundamental Problems of Marxism

Here are three basic works on historical materialism by the pioneer of Marxism in Russia. Fundamental Problems of Marxism is the basic work in which Plekhanov establishes the philosophical sources of historical materialism. "The Materialist Conception of History" and "The Role of the Individual in History" included in the appendix, are devoted to correcting misinterpretations of the theory, particularly 'economic determinism' and the 'hero-mob' theory of history. Created in the course of past polemics, these works remain among the finest expositions of historical materialism.
